So although this shop has a great selection of lines and is very nicely laid out, I do find the lighting a little poor and the prices to high. There are a few handy things about this shop, like the self serve tills and the cash machine just inside the door. So for me this is more of a top up shop rather than a full out and out weekly shop place.

Disastrous supermarket.Considering it is a Co-op it looks like a second hand shop.On entry there is a wierd lean to that you walk through full of teens just hanging out and sneering at you as you walk in and out.At the end of your shop there are two exciting games to play. First one is checkout lotto where you try to pay for your good using the self checkouts which dislike most items and generally have a lot of bad days.Or you can try to find a member of staff at a till. Now this is harder than it seems as the staff here AVOID AT ALL COSTS the opportunity to interact with us buyers aka the ones paying for their salaries, and will go to extraordinary lengths to dart into stockrooms etc if a queue builds.I subscribe to supporting local. In the case of this shop I'd rather drive to Aldi.

After going in the shop to buy some full fat milk, and finding none in the fridge section (except 6 pints), I left the shop to get milk elsewhere. Then as leaving I was shouted back by a shop assistant to be checked for stealing things ! Only to find it was just my 'belly' under my coat. The cheek of it !! By the way the staff at Tesco's on Otley road are lovely. And the milk and coffee is cheaper.

Small co-op. Suitable for locals. Don't expect lots os different products. There's enough for daily basis living. 3 stars because of the poor maintenance. The store is always dirt. From pieces of paper on the floor, messy tills with shopping baskets and plastic bags all over, to the products on the shelves. The presentation is poor. The price is good when you get the offers. The staff is (most of them ) helpful. Just don't expect a 5 stars store. It's not good taken care of, visually speaking . Staff could work on being more proactive towards shop maintenance and visual merchandising.

Great for last minute shopping. It is a medium sized supermarket, but has a pretty good range groceries. Plus Co-ops own brands. Also there's a fresh bakery with a decent selection of breads and cakes. You can do your weekly shop here too!A superb choice of wine, spirits, and beer. A small electrical department and kitchen equipment too. Hot food, available and coffee, as well.Sandwiches, salads, and pasta should you need a lunchtime takeaway. Ample parking to boot!
